I want to increase the number of exhibition matches between teammates. This will be much more structured and will include a tiny weight-cut, interview and walkout with music.
We have a referee training with us now and he will be officiating the fights. This is an outstanding way to sharpen skills as fighters and corners.
If you are a fighter or are interested in fighting in the future you should start to get involved with the matches. All efforts are made to assure safety such as limiting punching to the forehead and body and no knees and elbows to the head. Maintaining control is the goal of this training!
Post on here or send me a message if you are interested. I will be booking these fights every week.
If you are a fighter, you will have the opportunity to rack up several unsanctioned fights in-between your actual fights. For self-defense, what better way to learn how to keep your cool in a hostile situation.
greeting everyone. i hope to be the ref for fight night. i am pretty available with a little notice.....so please post the schedule as soon as possible.
Hey Tony, apparently there was a miscoomunication between Cody and I so we'll fight next week sometime, so unless someone else wants to put together a different match ASAP I dont think there will be a fight
I am still interested in getting in there with you guys. Please keep the chatter going as we lock in a day and time. Not that it depends on me...........but Wednesday is not the best day for me. If it is in fact Wednesday, the sooner i know the better chance i have of rearranging my plans.
I'm thinking Thursday. Cuz one day notice is really soon to do it today, Wednesday isn't a good day so Thursday would be good with me if it is cool with everyone else.
We have a lot of high profile fighters training with us so there will be no scheduled fights but rather tons of training.
What you could do Tony is start coming in during striking and MMA classes. Thursday night for example we have tons of sparing. during these sessions you could practice moving around the cage. There is a real art to this.
