Hey everyone just wanted to let you know that the guys at CSAD next door are working with my girlfriend Sapna and I on setting up a Yoga/Joint Mobility seminar and workshop for May. Exact dates and prices will be announced in the near future but we wanted to get the word out as soon as we could.
I will be teaching some basic trigger point therapy, joint maintenance and mobilization, injury prevention as well helping to diagnose strength/flexibility imbalances which can lead to some serious problems down the road.
Sapna will be doing an introduction to yoga class and we will be discussing its application to jiu-jitsu and strength/conditioning as well.
For those of you who don't know about our qualifications Sapna is a classicly trained yoga instructor who has done much of her training in India, has been practicing for over 20 years, is a YogaFit level 1 instructor, and is currently working on her doctorate in yoga therapy.
I'm a nationally certified Personal Trainer with American College of Sports Medicine, I have a BS in Phys Ed, a minor in Health and Human Performance, a CrossFit Level 1 instructor, and I'm certified in Nutrition Counseling, Olympic Weightlifting, and Mobility/Flexibility.
This workshop is appropriate for people of all ages and ability levels and we hope that all of you who are interested will be able to attend. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
