So its day 3. Monday night I rolled on my side and it separated again. Then today at lunch I hiccuped and it separated again, this time I was in a local library parking lot. So I look like Im having a heart attack and lay in the grass because thats the only way I know how to pop it back into place.
So my question is should I wrap it, should I see a doctor? I just want it to stop becoming separated. Is there any exercises to do?
For some reason all I could think about while laying on my back trying to get my rib to pop back in was that part in lethal weapon 2 when Riggs separates his shoulder underwater.
Not sure but mine did and still does on occasion. As you become more flexible it will become easier. Right now, everything is pulling together which is why the rib is pushing so hard against your sternum (either in place or out). Mine was the same way and it was hell every time is popped out and stayed there. This happened to me every time I woke up in the AM. It actually happened again the other day but was not painful. With increased flexibility, you will find it easier to manipulate these situations.
