Preferential Treatment and Private Lessons

I want to address preferential treatment at the academy.  There are three scenarios where additional instruction is given.

1)      Advanced Students

2)      Instructors

3)      Private Students

Advanced Students:  I am always thrilled to answer technique questions from anyone before and after class.  However, many of you probably observe me giving special attention to certain students on the mat.  More advanced students are able to handle additional details and variations of brand new techniques.  Many of the moves are overwhelming as they are so to add additional information for many students can stunt the learning process.  Therefore, it is my responsibility to know each student’s ability and level and to teach the appropriate techniques to maximize their progress.

Instructors:  Dennis, JJ and Ortolani receive a great deal of personal attention.  It is necessary for these students to master every detail and variation of the moves they will be teaching all of you.

Private Students:

I would never push private lessons on anyone.  Some students however have a desire to advance faster and private lessons work very well for them.  Private instruction does result in significant improvement.  These lessons are available to all students.  Anyone interested in setting up private lessons can contact me here or by email john@graciebarranh.com

Purchasing five or ten lesson packages results in significant discounts!

John Fain (Black Belt):  Available seven days a week (AM and PM)!

Phil Myers (Black Belt):  Available Tues and Thurs mornings!

Dennis Olson (Purple Belt):  Available Sat and Sun afternoons!

JJ Doyle (Purple Belt):  Available seven days a week!

John Ortolani (Purple Belt):  Available seven days a week!
