As you all know, I hate closing the academy for any reason.
However, on Saturday October 30th we will be closing as there will be a very important event at Gracie Barra Boston Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
My professor, Roberto Maia is celebrating 15 years of Boston Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. The celebration will include an incredible seminar with several black belts teaching including Phil Myers.
Following the seminar will be a Brazilian BBQ and a gathering. The Brazilian BBQ is worth the trip alone!
I never push you guys to attend seminars, tournaments or anything else. This however is a special event and will be a great opportunity to meet Roberto and all of the black, brown, purple and blue belts that have been my Boston teammates for so long.
