Who is planning on doing this?  August 27th and 28th.

I'm planning on doing this and would like as much competition as possible in the gym (Gi and No-Gi).  I would appreciate working with anyone that is up for it.

I was really considering it but I have lots of dental work over the next few weeks. 3 veneers and 2 crowns. All the permanent stuff on the 25th and 26th. i don"t want anything to happen to them so soon after getting them. Up until then Ill try to give anyone as much competition as I can.

Anybody else competing?

We have about 15 guys going from Boston, maybe we should unite our teams and take the team title!

Dennis lost to Vaca but took third in his advanced div, very impressive. Kate won her div and the absolutes. Mike B took second in his div. I am very proud of you all. Dennis still has the advanced absolutes and we still have Cody and PJ going tomorrow. I think Phil goes today and again tomorrow.

There are a few others I was unaware of competing today. Little Perrin took 3rd no gi, Cody won the no-g and took third in the gi. Paul G did well but ran into a monster. PJ and Phil are competing a little later today. Great job everyone!

Grapplers Quest if tough because of the single elimination format. PJ ran into a very experienced blue belt (4 stripes I think) and lost on points.

Great job everyone!

No cutters, won by pts, north-south choke, and lost by rnc. I liked GQ better than NAGA, real cool set-up. Kate is the best grappler we have at the school she dominated the whole day, never losing. Dennis lost only twice to some of the best guys around--Vaca and some beast that won it all in the absolutes (two elite black belts). TJ, I think only lost once to a big Judo player, otherwise he won everything else. Watching Phil was great!!!--the guy is an animal!!!--he lost once to a tough simmler guy, taking third.
