I would like to apologize to everyone in attendance tonight who witnessed and overheard my disrespectful comment to Dennis. It was an intense session and I over reacted to a legitimate suggestion when I was in a tough spot. I have no excuse for my behavior and I assure you that it will not happen again. Gracie Barra is like a second home to me and I would never do anything to jeopardize the family/team atmosphere that John, Phil, and everyone else has worked so hard to create. Again I sincerely apologize and would like to thank all of you for helping me, Dennis, and John O. get ready for our upcoming bouts and for being the best classmates a student and athlete could ask for.
Whats important is that you fighters keep improving your technique and the control of your emotions. The more we can frustrate you guys in the gym and force you to control it, the easier it will be in the cage. The improvements show all the time. That was a great session last night, I was very impressed with everyone.
it takes a man to step-up in or out of the gym,and i'll be the first to admit there's times when i want to tell someone take their advice and ...,but thats a normal reaction to this business,as long as it stays in-house and it's over when it's over!chalk it up to heat of the moment bs.
Hahahahaha. John still has marks from that whipping. Deep emotional scaring. On the Shelby note, emotions are sure to come out in a MMA gym. Shelby, your usualy a chill guy crap happens, live and learn. Just think you could be like that all the time, but them we would have to start calling you Sully. I wasn't there for it but sounds like your handling it the correct way.
